It had been a long day on the lake, the last day of a family reunion, and we were driving back to Reno to our timeshare. We decided we wanted Chinese, so, to the trusty Yelp app I went.
China Kitchen was right off I-80 in Northwest Reno, but it wasn't visible from the highway, so we were glad we had Yelp.
It's in a mini strip mall, maybe four shops total. You walk in and there is a cooler one your left work bottles of water, soda and juices. The counter is straight ahead to order, but if you're eating there you can take a seat. The menu is under glass on the table.
It's standard Chinese fare, the prices are very reasonable and there is a dinner and lunch special for about nine dollars.
The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. We asked for a special order item and they accommodated us without an issue.
In our party we ordered pot stickers, sweet and sour chicken, General Tsao Chicken and sesame beef. Everything was cooked very well, good flavors. I'm not often in Reno, but when I am next I'll come back. -

I liked the food till my daughter bit into an egg roll a few minutes ago and found a long dark hair hanging out of her mouth. The sweet and sour chicken had good flavor but a ton of breading. My first two egg rolls were good. The hair totally creeped my daughter and I out to the point. Where we just put it down and threw it all out. I have had ok meals here in the past and most of the time got exactly what I was expecting. So the three stars could have been one if not for other good experiences here in the past. Also, the people working behind the counter are always so nice. It might take a while but I might try them again.

We ordered delivery to the hotel and it was super fast. I had egg foo young I know but I was craving it lol and Mongolian beef dinner special.
It was one of those nights where you just didn't want to think about what to eat and where. Something fast, close and possibly good enough to eat.
Surprisingly this was actually that spot, plenty of food to feed 4 people of the egg foo young, and another two for the dinner special which they forgot the egg roll lol whatever

If your looking for a quality Chinese Restaurant for a fast food price this is it! Forget the panda, this is the BEST CHINESE IN TOWN!
I have been up and down looking for a place like this. Most Chinese I only go to once and never go back! Stomach ache!!! Death by grease and weird smells. This is a clean, quality restaurant. Generals Chicken is epic, Sweet and Sour the best I've had.
